Charney is an award-winning photographer, director, published author, public speaker, mentor and activist.
With almost 20 year’s experience in the fashion industry Charney has worked alongside some of the biggest names to date; British Vogue, Nick Knight, Ralph Lauren and the Estée Lauder Group – to name but some.
In 2007 Charney launched the Beautiful Black Women and in 2012 launched her first booked titled Women of the UAE focusing on the inner beauty of women and their contribution to the region. Hillary Clinton has recognised her book and the UN Women and Australian Embassy Abu Dhabi use her books as cross-cultural communication tools and state gifts.
An active public speaker in 2016 Charney travelled to 9 countries with Nikon MEA teaching Commercial Photography workshops. She was recognised as one of NikonMEA’s outstanding instructors and mentors whilst visiting Pakistan.
After 7 years in Dubai and 2 years in France Charney returned to the UK in 2016. She is an active member of the SheSays UK committee and in 2017 launched the VOWSS at Cannes Lions, providing a platform to support women in film to showcase their creative work.
Charney is an Ethical Fashion Forum listed member and in 2018 joined as a board member for the Slave Free Trade, with a mission to make 100 companies 'slave free' by December 2018.
In June 2018 Charney will co-launch a global platform, Fashion 4 Change (F4C). F4C is a global content creation agency focused on delivering film, photography and facilitating thought leadership events for sustainably driven brands
F4C believe's in the power of aspirational photography and film to create positive change. Together with thought leadership F4C facilitate conversations that enable businesses and consumers to choose sustainability as the norm.
Patrick founded Intandem Creatives, a Boutique Creative Agency that focuses on sustainability, design and the production of big ideas.
Patrick powers creative teams in New York, Los Angeles, and London and has produced events & experiences, created marketing campaigns and designed structures around the world for some of the world’s most recognized brands like HM, Moët Hennessy and Microsoft.
Patricks passion for social impact led to the creation of Global Fashion Exchange in 2013, an international initiative challenging the fashion industry to create a more sustainable world. Since it's inception GFX has activated in 10 global cites and will be expanding to 25 in 2018.
In addition to his work with GFX, Patrick also manages global partnerships for Common Objective (CO) is an intelligent business network for the fashion industry. He is the director of development for Design Pavilion, a yearly event in Times Square New York. And is a founding partner of Just Tag It.
